EARLY CORRECTIVE

Some bad bite problems need to be addressed as soon as they are detected and an early correction is very beneficial because it intercepts a problem that if left untreated could become progressively much more complicated, some even leading to facial asymmetries with notorious esthetic concerns. These are called orthopedic appliances and are usually combined with braces used in children (2×4).

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are completely invisible because they are placed on the back of the teeth instead of the front. This is the number one reason that people choose this method of braces for correcting orthodontic issues. Not all orthodontists offer Lingual braces as an option of treatment for their patients, however, Dr Daya has received specialized training and is authorized to offer Lingual Braces as an additional option for those who qualify for this type of treatment.

Clear Aligner therapy

Clear aligners are clear and removable plastic appliances that can be used to treat many different types of problems of teeth alignment and bite, including minor relapses of previous orthodontic treatment. They have to be worn full-time to produce the expected results, so patient cooperation is essential.

With the incorporation of our new 3D digital scanner that we use in our office, it increases precision and reduces time in the fabrication and fit of these appliances.

Treatments with clear aligners rely on sophisticated software that the Orthodontist uses to plan and programs tooth movements in conjunction with technicians. Actual treatments consist of a series of clear trays that are used in each arch separately and during a specified period of time.

Ask our staff about this exciting technology and if you are interested in speeding up your treatment!
